Graduate Programs and Courses at MSU (Bozeman)

Montana State University offers a variety of graduate degrees and certificates. In addition there are courses that can be taken by non-degree seeking students. Many courses and programs are available online or offered on campus during the summer. Note that students must satisfy the prerequisites necessary for a given course/program. Contact that program directly for more information regarding prerequisites and/or admission. Courses offered through Extended University are listed on the Extended University web site along with application and registration information for Extended University. Montana Tech has several specialized graduate programs. Please note that some programs may require pre-requisite undergraduate coursework in the subject area. Many of the programs are offered face-to-face at their campus in Butte; however, Tech does have distance courses in health care informatics, business and management, industrial hygiene, and technical communication. University of Montana - Missoula

The University of Montana offers concurrent enrollment educators a diverse range of graduate degrees, certificates, and courses that can be taken by degree- and non-degree- seeking students. Courses and programs are available fully online, blended, and on-campus, year round.  In October 2014, the University of Montana will begin offering online courses serving the specific needs of concurrent enrollment educators.  The University of Montana is developing online graduate coursework in disciplines such as, but not limited to: English Literature, English Writing, Psychology and Anthropology.
