ITEM 110-2701-R0101       Authorization to Expend Student Computer Fee Allocation; College of Technology, Montana State University-Billings

 

THAT:                                    Consistent with the provisions of Board of Regents Policy 940.23, the Board of Regents authorizes College of Technology, Montana State University-Billings to expend Student Computer Fee funds for the following project which exceeds the local approval threshold:   purchase PCs for an instructional computer lab at a  total cost $35,782.75.

 

EXPLANATION:                  Board of Regents Policy 940.23 requires Board approval of all purchases over $25,000.  The Student Computer Fee Committee, whose membership includes 50 percent students as required by Board policy, endorses this proposal.
