ITEM 120-2851-R0903                Authorization to Expend Student Computer Fees; Montana State University-Great Falls College of Technology

 

THAT:                                       Consistent with the provisions of Board of Regents Policy 940.23, the Board of Regents authorizes Montana State University-Great Falls College of Technology to expend Student Computer Fee funds for the following project which exceeds the local approval threshold:  purchase PCs for a classroom at a cost not to exceed $105,000.

 

EXPLANATION:                        Board of Regents Policy 940.23 requires Board approval of all purchases in excess of $25,000. The Student Computer Fee Committee, whose membership includes 50 percent students as required by Board policy, endorses this proposal.
