ITEM 128-1003-R0705                Authorization to Replace Arena Floor – Adams Center; The University of Montana-Missoula

THAT:                                       Consistent with the provisions of MCA 18-2-102, the Board of Regents of Higher Education authorizes The University of Montana-Missoula to replace the wood court in the Adams Center arena.  This project at an estimated cost of $350,000 will be financed with university unrestricted funds.

 

EXPLANATION:                        The existing wood court has exceeded it useful life and needs to be replaced.  A new permanent state of the art wood playing surface will be installed complete with a protective covering to allow other events to be scheduled in the arena.
