Montana University System Transfer Audit – Spring 2001 Graduates
Report Background
In March of 2002, the Commissioner’s office requested data from the four-year campuses on Spring 2001 baccalaureate graduates. The survey was conducted after campuses expressed concern with the validity of an early report based on extracted information from the data warehouses, and the need by the Commissioner for information not available in the warehouse. The results from the survey, in most cases, vary only slightly from the warehouse extract report. The exception is MSU-Northern where the campus chose to include all 2000-2001 graduates versus spring term graduates only.
Findings
Table I presents the survey results on the number of baccalaureate degrees awarded, number of students, and the ratio of baccalaureate graduates with transfer credits to those without transfer credits by MUS campus.
