Proposed Revision to 1009.1 - Campus Health and Safety Policies

 

Board policy:

 

Each unit campus shall develop a campus health and safety policy.  This policy should establish a mechanism for the identification of existing and potential threats to the health and safety of persons on campus and for the elimination or reduction of such threats.

 

The unit campus health and safety policy should contain provisions for cooperation with local emergency services personnel and a plan for efficient, effective coordination of efforts with such personnel.  Campus procedures for dealing with emergencies (e.g. fires, large accidents, etc.) should be established.
