Implementation Guideslines
for the Transfer Policies

The policies adopted by the Montana Board of Regents, in response to the Transfer of Credits audit by the Legislative Audit Division, were developed using the expertise and experience of people throughout the Montana University System. Experts in each policy area attempted to anticipate every possible scenario when drafting the policy language, but of course there are always unanticipated problems.

The Office of the Commissioner of Higher Education prepared these implementation memorandums to assist the campuses and students in applying the new transfer policies.

• "Plus and minus" grading, including the values assigned to those grades.
   
• Single Admissions Files, and the official campus transcript as part of the transmitted materials.
