RE:������������������ Approval of Tentative Agreement With MUS Maintenance Painters Union

Attached is a summary of the tentative agreement reached with the Montana University System Maintenance Painters Union, which includes 13 painters and painter foremen at Montana Tech, MSU-Bozeman, and UM-Missoula.� The entire collective bargaining agreement is available at the Montana University System web site.

 

The union elected not to open negotiations.� Therefore, the contract is continued for an additional two years with only the following changes:

 

�         Wage increases in accordance with HB 447�3.5 percent and 4.0 percent effective October 1, 2005, and October 1, 2006, respectively.

�         Continuation the Dependent Partial Tuition Waiver.

 

I recommend approval of the tentative agreement with MUS Maintenance Painters Union.
