THAT:����������������������������������� The Board of Regents of the Montana University System authorizes The University of Montana�s Broadcast Media Center to place a transmitter in Libby, Montana, to extend its public radio signal to this unserved area of the State.�

EXPLANATION:����������������� Libby residents raised more than $15,000 in support of the project.� The University of Montana�s Broadcast Media Center staff supplied the technical/engineering services to get the license application prepared.� The application is pending approval by the FCC.� Sufficient funding is in hand to complete the project.
