ITEM 122-2706-R0304: Authorization to Renovate Portions of Alterowitz Gymnasium; Montana State University-Billings

THAT: Consistent with the provisions of MCA-18-2 102(b), the Board of Regents of Higher Education authorizes MSU-Billings to renovate portions of Alterowitz Gymnasium. This request is for a total of $250,000.

 

EXPLANATION: 1. The Alterowitz Gymnasium was constructed in 1961, as the sole Physical Education facility/Gymnasium for the Billings campus.

2. This project will renovate the existing Men's and Women's shower areas to meet current health code and ADA requirements as well as updating the facility with modern fixtures and finishes.

3. This project will be financed with Plant (Renewal and Replacement) funds.
