THAT: The Board of Regents of Higher Education authorizes The University of Montana to add a Comprehensive Study (Non-Thesis) option to the Master of Arts Degree in Political Science.
EXPLANATION: The University of Montana presently offers a Master of Arts Degree in Political Science requiring a thesis. The addition of a non-thesis option provides students a more flexible program and conforms to the design of other Master of Arts programs, both on The University of Montana campus and elsewhere.
