POST RETIREMENT EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT
RENEWAL

THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF HIGHER EDUCATION OF THE STATE OF MONTANA, on behalf of Montana State University-Billings, hereby enters into a renewal of contract for post retirement employment with the employee, hereinafter called Appointee, and Montana State University-Billings, subject to the duly enacted policies and procedures of the Board of Regents applicable to post retirement employees, all applicable statutes, and the following stated terms and conditions:

Effective Date of Retirement: August 31, 1996
Expiration of Current Post Retirement: May, 1999

1. EMPLOYMENT

This is a one-year renewal of post retirement agreement for the 1999-2000 academic year.

2. COMPENSATION

The annual base salary for the year will be approximately $19,448.75 and will be payable in biweekly installments throughout each term of this agreement. Any increases in salary may be made subject to applicable Public Retirement System Laws and at the discretion of the University.

3. DUTIES

Appointee shall perform the full range of duties and services of a faculty member as assigned by the Dean, College of Business, and the Provost and Academic Vice Chancellor. Appointee shall comply with and abide by all rules and regulations of Montana State University-Billings, the Montana University System, and the pertinent statutes of the State of Montana.

4. TERMINATION

This agreement may be terminated prior to the termination date stated in Paragraph One:

a) following the retrenchment policies of the University and the Board of Regents, b) for cause, c) appointee request, or d) at the request of the University administration.

5. EVALUATION

The appointee's performance shall be evaluated according to procedures existing at the University for faculty evaluations.

Special Conditions: The University Administration reserves the right to, in consultation with the faculty member, assign duties and responsibilities that are needed and in the best interests of the University.
